RVs have limited space for appliances, so if you're going on a camping trip, you want to bring food that's easy to make. However, this doesn't mean you need to sacrifice delicious food for the sake of simplicity. Before you hit the RV campground, pack the following items with you.

What to Eat During an RV Camping Trip

1. Trail Mix, Nuts, and Granola Bars

You'll probably be doing a lot of hiking during your trip, so you need a protein-packed snack that's easy to carry. Trail mix, nuts, and granola bars provide plenty of nutrients to keep you full and energized throughout the day. However, avoid options that are heavy on sweets and chocolate. To limit the amount of sugar, you can also create your own.

2. Instant Noodles

Instant noodles are not only quick to make, but they're also versatile. Instead of using the flavor packet, you can pick out your own spices, like cumin, red pepper flakes, or curry powder. To make the meal more satisfying, toss in some chopped veggies, such as mushrooms, carrots, cabbage, or spinach.

Instant noodles also come in large variety packs, so you can stock up enough for the whole family.

3. Bread and Sandwich Fillings

Sandwiches have always been the perfect meal for on-the-go travel, and your options are practically endless. For the kids, pack peanut butter and jelly. And if you want something a little more filling for the adults, bring a cooler to store cold cuts and all your favorite condiments.

4. Instant Coffee and Tea Bags

Many people need their daily dose of caffeine, but RVs don't always have coffee makers. Instead, pack an electric kettle so you can boil water for instant coffee and tea.

5. S'mores

No camping trip would be complete without s'mores, so don't forget to bring graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate. The process of making them is fun, and they bring the whole family together to enjoy a tasty snack.
