On Stage Academy of Performing Arts in Fall River will offer a complete schedule of classes for children ages 6-21 during our  7-week summer program. Classes will run from July 5, 2022- August 17, 2022.

The Dance Department will offer combo classes for children ages 6-9 in Ballet/Tap and Jazz, along with classes in Classical Ballet and Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, and Modern Dance for children ages 10-21. 

What will students learn over the summer at On Stage?

1. Students will improve their learning skills. In dance classes, your child will develop the ability to focus and understand the concept of discipline, which they carry with them into all areas of life, including both home and school settings. This could help to lead to an improvement in academic performance at school in the fall!
2. Students will have fun and be creative. Dance classes provide a variety of fun activities for children of all ages while they learn new moves, play fun games, and develop their creativity. 
3. Students will improve their social skills. At dance class, your child is sure to make new friends, maybe even life-long friends. As they become more self-confident, they will become more comfortable meeting new people and building relationships. They will learn to work as a team and overcome shyness and stage fright. They will learn how to be a performer!
4. Students will improve their physical health with a structured schedule. Dance is a type of aerobic activity which is good for people of all ages. In dance class, your child will improve their flexibility, range of motion, physical strength, stamina, balance, and coordination. 
5. Students in the  will improve their self-confidence. Dance is an outlet for self-expression. When children learn to express their feelings, that improves their self-esteem. As they master new skills, they become more aware of how their bodies work and move and they gain pride and a sense of accomplishment.

The Musical Theater Department will offer classes that combine Vocal Technique, Music Theory, Acting Exercises, Choreography, and Performance Skills.

There is creativity found inside all of us and we can express it in many different ways. One of those would be through singing, dancing, and acting. Here at the On Stage Academy of Performing Arts, we offer Musical Theater Classes that will give you exactly that!  

Musical theater classes are a great option for any age group. They can allow students to come out of their shells and perform with others. This also gives students the chance to meet new people and make new friends! These classes help students learn all about the world of musical theater. 

 Each class in the Musical Theater Department is set up for specific age levels, so you or your child will feel comfortable while in class.
