At the age of 18, Rod Gooman started his first real job at Hanna Barbera Studio in Hollywood, CA, the home of Fred Flintstone, Yogi Bear and the Smurfs. He worked there for over a decade and that helped form his view of the world he sees today.

At the age of 30, Rod Goodman began studying photography, eventually starting one of the most successful photography studios in Los Angeles. Goodman soon decided to expand his photography into the New York City market. With over 20,000 past clients in his LA business, Goodman's new Park Avenue South location soon became a staple to the New York photography community, thanks to his experience and sheer talent.

As a portrait photographer, Goodman focuses specifically on people – still-life and landscapes do not interest him.

Three headshot packages are available, as well as a Monday special:

• DELUXE: $750 for an unlimited shot session, as many looks as you want, as much time as you need (average session time is approximately 4 to 5 hours), an online gallery, a post shoot consultation, 2 retouched 8x10's (TIFF format CD), a CD of all images shot (low res. JPEGs) and 4 marketing tool items.
• STANDARD: $450 for 2 hours of studio time, with 3 or 4 clothing looks, an online headshot gallery, 2 retouched 8x10's (TIFF format CD) and 2 marketing tool items.
• CHILDREN'S PACKAGE: For children 10 and under. $250 includes 45 minutes of studio time, 2 clothing changes, an online gallery, 1 retouched 8x10 (TIFF format CD) and 1 marketing tool item.
• MONDAYS SUCK: Headshots for only $99, including the photoshoot, one 8x10, a free "MONDAYS SUCK" T-shirt.
