Adopting shelter and rescue pets helps curb overcrowding in care facilities and gives animals a second chance at life. To ensure new furry family members are happy and healthy, Waipio Pet Clinic in Waipahu, HI, is offering free animal wellness exams for pets adopted from the Oahu SPCA or Hawaiian Humane Society now through December 31st.. Find out how this opportunity will benefit your pet below.
Free Animal Wellness Exams for New Pets
When adopting a feline friend or canine companion, you want to make sure they feel comfortable in the new home. That’s why pet owners are encouraged to schedule animal wellness exams.
During the free checkup at Waipio Pet Clinic, experienced veterinarians will exam your animal’s eyes, ears, and skin, looking for growths and abnormalities that require surgical treatment. A vet can also offer advice to curb behavioral problems and make the adjustment easier for everyone.
The free exam is available for shelter and rescue group pets adopted through the Oahu SPCA or Hawaiian Humane Society. The coupon (on the right) is valid for seven days after the adoption date and must be printed out and shown at the time of the appointment. Also, bring along adoption paperwork. Tests, vaccinations, veterinary medicine, and supplies are excluded.
Don’t Miss Out on This Opportunity
December 31st will be here before you know it, so don’t forget to schedule an animal wellness exam at Waipio Pet Clinic right after you adopt a shelter or rescue pet this winter. You can also schedule additional testing and get puppy and kitten shots. For an appointment at the Waipahu pet hospital, call (808) 676-2205.
