About Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce (GAACC) is the area’s leading driver in local economic growth for businesses tied to Asia and Asian Americans. With a firm mission to promote communal unity and spur local economic growth with global endeavors, the GAACC is a catalyst for development while still maintaining its advocacy, international connections, and education.
For over 15 years, two organizations, the Texas Asian Chamber of Commerce (TACC) and the Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce (AAACC), have aimed to improve Asian business in Austin. By conducting separate job fairs, industry forums, educational seminars, and social networking functions, each organization recognized the growth and development of businesses in Central Texas, and unified to form the current GAACC in March 2012.
The GAACC strives for business transparency, ethics, and integrity. By embracing the diversity of Asia, businesses in the Austin area can develop a strong and inclusive community to create, develop, promote, mentor, and educate businesses. Regular seminars, networking events, and mixers are available, allowing both business owners and job seekers to connect and develop lasting ties to the community.
The story of The Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce is one that demonstrates the progress that can be accomplished when a myriad of cultural businesses and economical practices converge for a common goal.
