To our loyal family of patients,

For the majority of our patients whom have generally been in excellent dental health, we temporarily suspended reminders for re-care appointments. We are continuously monitoring the latest information and will make adjustments as conditions change.

When it is time to resume elective dental care in our practice, we want to assure you that we will be implementing additional safety measures as we value the health of you and your family. We will follow the state and city requirements of social distancing and enforcing wearing a face mask in public places of business. To allow for social distancing, we will increase time between appointments to limit overlap of different families. And we will cleanse the public reception area to a similar level of sanitation as our treatment areas. We have appreciated your timeliness in the past and we encourage you to continue this practice in the future for the benefit of the family with appointments before and/or after yours. Unfortunately, to limit exposure to the staff, we will have to temporarily suspend our policy of allowing parents to be present in treatment rooms for select situations. We hope you understand and know that we will relax this policy as conditions change.

When we return to seeing all elective care patients again, you will be receive notification for an appointment. We hope you feel comfortable with the precautions that we will be taking and will support our practice’s recovery. In the meantime, we hope you continue to monitor your family’s oral hygiene regimen and good eating habits to maintain good dental health. And remember, if your child or any family member has an influenza-like (cough, fever, or shortness of breath) or other respiratory illness, we would appreciate you postponing the appointment until you are healthy. The same would be true if your child or any family member has traveled in the last 14 days or has been in contact with another person who has been diagnosed with or under investigation for COVID-19.

Thank you for your understanding and support in the past, present, and future. It is patients like you whom make our practice and we appreciate that! If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact our office to discuss them.

Stay healthy and share Aloha,
