About Chowder Heads
If you’re craving New England-style seafood in Palm Beach County, no one does it better than Chowder Heads Restaurant. The Jupiter, FL, eatery has served “wicked awesome” seafood to more than 60,000 customers since opening in 2012. They take pride in bringing authentic lobster rolls, seafood dishes, and, of course, clam chowder to sunny South Florida.
New England culture and cuisine are at the heart of Chowder Heads Restaurant. Not only will you find three kinds of clam chowder (including New England, Rhode Island, and Manhattan styles) on the menu; you’ll also discover fried oysters, crab cocktail, live Maine lobsters, scallops, and award-winning lobster rolls — all made with the freshest catches. The 52-seat seafood restaurant is a great place to catch Boston sports while enjoying a crisp Narragansett lager. Don’t leave your pup behind, either — the local restaurant is pet-friendly, so you and your dog can enjoy “Yappy Hour” from 3 to 6 p.m. everyday.
While the seafood restaurant opened four years ago, Chowder Heads was actually born in 2008 when owner Edwin Wells began offering tastings of Maine lobster bisque, lobster rolls, and clam chowder at local green markets. The popularity of this seafood style exploded thereafter, giving Edwin the opportunity to debut Chowder Heads Restaurant just a few years later. Backed only by word-of-mouth advertising, the seafood restaurant had a line of people waiting to try the menu before the doors were even opened. The friendly seafood restaurant has gone on to win numerous awards and praise from the south Florida community.
