City of Refuge Christian Church to Hold Thanksgiving Concert
Event Information
With Thanksgiving approaching, it’s time to remember what you have. To help remind congregation members, City of Refuge Christian Church in Waipahu, HI, will host a Thanksgiving Concert in addition to their weekly church services. The concert will be a fun place to gather before family feasts while discussing how members can give thanks every day of the year.
Thanksgiving Concert at City of Refuge Christian Church
Thursday, November 22nd, 9 a.m.
Everyone has reasons to be thankful, from a roof over your head to family or friends. You can rejoice in your blessings with other congregation members at the Thanksgiving concert. The message of the concert will be one you can use every day: you don’t need a holiday to show your gratitude. As with many of the church services, the music will be a mix of contemporary gospel.
How to Give Thanks
Showing thanks doesn’t need to involve material items—it’s more about sharing your faith in God with those around you. Consider volunteering once a month for an animal shelter or soup kitchen with your church service. Donating your time to a worthy cause is one way to show thanks for your fortune by giving back to those in need.
If you’re looking for additional ways to share your thanks and blessings, become a member of City of Refuge Christian Church’s non-denominational congregation. With church services offered at two times, 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sundays, you can easily find time for faith. To inquire about the Thanksgiving Concert, call (808) 677-5677.
