Companies give back to their communities in a variety of ways. At The St. Laurent School of Dance, they bring holiday entertainment to senior living facilities around Oahu. The tradition began in 1990, when Director Kim St. Laurent started presenting dance programs at the original Arcadia retirement residence on Punahou Street where her grandparents were living.

Over the years, additional locations have been added, including the Palolo Chinese Home, Pohai Nani, 15 Craigside, Hawaii Kai Retirement Community, Kahala Nui and, Kuakini Hospital. The program features The Junior Performing Company, a select group of dancers and singers from age six to 18. This year, audiences are enjoying ballet, contemporary and jazz dance numbers mixed in with some fun holiday vocals.

The public is invited to see the show at Kahala Mall at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 14th.

The St. Laurent School of Dance has much to offer local families. From ballet class to tap, jazz and singing lessons, the instructors put their heart and soul into what they do and strive to help all students develop their talents.
