2. Transactional

They often work with their staff to develop sets of predetermined goals, providing them with the tools and resources they require to accomplish them. They also frequently review the performance results of their team, giving incentives like bonuses for overachievers and more training for those who are struggling. 

3.  Laissez-Faire

This type of leader is someone who thrives when they’re surrounded by high-performing peers and employees. They like to give free reign to those they work with, providing little supervision and feedback unless necessary. This kind of leadership is prevalent in many high-octane corporate environments; however, it doesn’t always produce results. Many employees need a certain amount of supervision, or at the very least, positive reinforcement to continue excelling. A laissez-faire leader may often find themselves with a drop in productivity at the end of the quarter without even knowing that there was a problem in the first place.
