About Columbia Kinder College

While selecting a child care service can be challenging, it’s a decision that deserves careful consideration; the service you choose has a long-lasting impact on your children, both during and after their formative years. A high-quality daycare program plays a vital role in getting your young ones off to a good start in their cognitive and social development, while a substandard one could set them back.

If you are a parent residing in Columbia, IL, Columbia Kinder College should be at the top of your list of potential daycare services. In 2007, Deborah Killy, a full-time career woman and mother of five, wanted to create a center that would meet the educational and structural needs of both children and parents. Columbia Kinder College opened its doors with the commitment to provide quality care and education for children. The child care facility was founded on a vision of forming a brighter future for each of its students.

Columbia Kinder College is a family-owned company that offers highly structured educational programs. Their friendly, certified staff provides hands-on early childhood learning and interactive play for children from six weeks to six years old. They use age-appropriate concepts, where every project or toy is designed to enhance the relevant stage of child development.

Parents can choose from three educational programs: the Freshmen Program for infant development, the Sophomore Program for toddlers, and the Juniors Seniors Masters Programs for kids aged 3–6. They also offer extra activities that are focused on improving computer skills, foreign language and sign language fluency, and gymnastics.

The lessons at Columbia Kinder College don’t stop inside the classroom. They have safe and secure camera-monitored playground areas, which are ideal environments for developing gross and fine motor skills. In addition, toddlers are encouraged to participate in horticulture and gardening projects, where they can grow their own flowers and vegetables in the school’s greenhouse.

Moms and dads are always welcome to observe or ask questions regarding their child’s daily activities. Parents can also communicate with their child’s teachers through individual classroom e-mail addresses.

If you want your kids to be cared for in a safe and educational facility with trustworthy and professional staff, choose Columbia Kinder College. For more information, call (618) 281-5115 or visit them online to learn more about the programs they offer.
