About Clutch Magazine

If you’re tired of seeing beauty magazines at your local drugstore that promote unaffordable products and flaunt unattainable lifestyles, you’re not alone. That’s why Chely Kemp, from Richmond, KY, founded Clutch Magazine, a magazine by real women, for real women. Instead of the same old articles about penthouse apartments and thousand-dollar stilettos, this magazine is filled with relatable and stimulating content, made just for you.

Kemp, a retail manager at Ulta™, with degrees in visual merchandising and management, possesses years of experience in the beauty industry. As a licensed cosmetologist and certified image consultant, she holds a genuine passion for beauty, health, and fashion that she’s eager to share with her community. While flipping through the selection of big-name women’s magazines on the market, Kemp realized that many of these publications leave something to be desired. She came to understand that, with the support of local writers, businesses, and entrepreneurs in the community, she could create something special for women who share her passions.

From profiles of local beauty salons to articles on hair care tips, this magazine sets out to provide endlessly engaging and educational content. Whether you’re looking for a cute, trendy spot for brunch, or want to learn about a skin care routine that will make your complexion glow, the pages of Clutch Magazine will have everything you need.

Looking for a gorgeous pair of shoes from a local boutique, or are interested in hearing about the impact of fast fashion? The team behind Clutch Magazine understands that you not only want to read about beauty, fashion, and health—you also want to remain educated and informed.

For a beauty magazine that speaks to your needs, stay tuned for what Clutch Magazine has to offer. In 2017, this one-of-a-kind magazine is coming to a local venue near you. For more information, call (859) 979-2477.
