Do:

Keep your foot on the brake. 

When ABS activates, a dashboard light may illuminate, and the brake pedal may feel as if it’s vibrating. While your initial reaction may be to lift your foot off the brake, this will disengage ABS and could cause you to lose traction. Keep your foot on the brake and press down firmly. 

Continue steering. 

With your foot firmly on the brake, keep your hands on the wheel and steer to safety.
