Three-dimensional (3D) archery ranges are spaces in which recreational archers go after targets with three dimensions. They serve as arenas for enthusiasts to both sharpen their skills and enjoy their time with a beloved hobby. While some 3D archery ranges are set up outdoors, many are constructed inside. As an ode to hunting, the 3D targets are typically animals.  

When you sign up to go shoot at a 3D archery range, you’ll be doing more than firing at a single stationary target. At the top-level range at M & M Archery Range and Pro Shop in Independence, KY, you’ll gain access to a private domain where you can test your archery skills on lifelike 3D animal targets. 

Once you’re inside the course and have your gear, you’ll seek out different targets within the range. Animal targets will be positioned throughout the course. With a 3D course, you’ll get to feel what it’s like to be on the hunt as opposed to just aiming at the same bullseye repeatedly. 

While you can sign up to experience a 3D archery range with your friends, you may also enroll in archery leagues with competitions. As you move through the course, you and your team will accrue points depending on the accuracy of your shots.
