You might be enjoying the newest downloaded app on your iPhone® or iPad® when it asks for your feedback. This can get frustrating if it keeps pestering you to review it after the fifth or sixth time. While you should leave a positive review for apps you enjoy using, you might not always have time. Here’s how you can disable any app requesting for your feedback.

What Are In-App Feedback & Rating Requests?

Most applications downloaded from the App Store® will eventually ask you for your user feedback. Each app works differently depending on the programming settings the developer implemented during its creation. To avoid turning your iPhone or iPad into a pest machine, you can prompt your device to not request feedback at all.

How Do You Disable the App's Ratings Request?

iPhoneYou can disable feedback notifications immediately after downloading the app on your iPhone or iPad. If you're running the latest operating system, you can turn off notifications through your phone's settings. Open the “Settings” app on your iPhone or iPad. Then, scroll to the “iTunes & App Store” tab. Slide the button next to “In-App Ratings & Reviews” to off—from green to white. Once this option is switched off, you will no longer receive notifications for feedback when using an app. However, you can still leave a review for the app through the App Store or the app's website if you choose to.
