1. Larger Texts

If increasing the text size isn’t enough, switch on the Bold Text option, which is also found in the Display and Brightness settings.

2. VoiceOver

VoiceOver is another useful option for visually impaired smartphone users. To enable this feature, go to Settings, select General, and tap on Accessibility. Under the Vision category, tap VoiceOver and turn the toggle button on.

By turning this feature on, the device will read your screen aloud—including texts, icons, buttons, links, and other elements on the interface. This feature also allows users to navigate and select apps via gestures. If you single-tap anywhere within the screen, the device will read aloud the element you touched. To choose an item, double-tap it. 

3. Find My iPhone

To enable this feature, go to Settings and tap on your phone’s Apple ID on the top of the screen. Select iCloud and tap Find My iPhone. Finally, hit the button to switch it on. 

Should you lose your phone, log in to your iCloud account using a computer. If you have misplaced your device around your house, the settings will allow you to play a sound from your phone even if it’s in silent mode. If you lose your device outside your home, select the Lost Mode option. This enables you to display a contact number on the screen, allowing the finder to get in touch with you.
