Apple® invites customers to Think Different. Most people only use standard functions on their iPhone®. There are many cool hacks, however, to explore. If you’ve recently purchased a pre-owned Apple product, try the following to improve your user experience.

iPhone User Secrets

1. Use Volume Control for Photos

You don’t have to tap your phone screen to capture a great photo. Instead, use the volume controls on the side of your pre-owned Apple product. This ensures your hand doesn’t get in the way of capturing the picture. This hack goes a step further—if you’ve plugged in earbuds with a volume control button, they’ll also capture photos.

2. Use the Retreat Command

The lack of a “back” button has been a nuisance to iPhone users. While there’s no dedicated button on newer or older versions, you can use a proven command. Whether you’re browsing the web or using an app, swipe right on the screen. In many cases, this command will take you back.

3. Create Custom Vibrations for Contacts

Want to know when a special somewhere is calling or texting? Find the Vibration Tool on your pre-owned Apple product. Open Contacts. Select the person and click Edit. There, you’ll see a Create New Vibration option. You can then tap a beat onto the screen to designate a unique vibration to that person.

4. Create a Temporary Do Not Disturb

Search for Date, and choose Adjust. You can program seconds and minutes to establish a customized and temporary Do Not Disturb that will turn off once the designated time has passed. This ensures you’re covered if you forget to set Do Not Disturb and when you forget to turn it off.
