About DEA Music and Art
There’s no substitute for the invaluable lessons learned through music. Piano lessons and art classes teach creativity and confidence, and the students at DEA Music and Art acquire skills that last a lifetime. With three locations in New York and a fourth in London, UK, DEA Music and Art is the place for children to have fun and express themselves.
DEA Music and Art is the product of a few scholarly musicians coming together to share their knowledge with a younger generation. They opened their first New York location in 2003, and music lovers from across the state have since signed up for their piano lessons, art classes and summer music programs. The teachers and staff are passionate about music education and have dedicated their lives to providing children a supportive environment to learn and grow.
Every DEA Music and Art location offers violin, guitar, music theory, voice and piano lessons — and the North Gannon studio offers lessons for woodwind instruments. The music department caters to children of all abilities starting at age three. Art classes are also designed to be age appropriate and teach fundamental lessons including color theory, drawing and composition. For a more immersive experience, music summer camps and summer art programs give children opportunities to delve further into their chosen crafts.
The team at DEA Music and Art is committed to helping children express themselves in ways that promote creativity, assurance and most of all, fun. Sign your child up for piano lessons or art classes by calling (718) 370-7733. Learn more about summer camp for kids on their website, and like their page on Facebook.
