1. Cover Your Nose

2. Clean It

When you remove a disposable mask, place it immediately in the trash without putting it down on any other surfaces first. This would contaminate the surface. Reusable masks should be washed between each wear. Place the dirty mask in a plastic bag until you are able to wash it. 3. Wash Your Hands

You touch a lot of surfaces during the day, and if one of those surfaces is contaminated, you do not want to expose it to your face. Putting your mask on and taking it off requires contact with your face, so your hands should be clean. Always wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before doing this. 

4. Toss Disposable Masks

The disposable paper masks from the pharmacy are effective and comfortable, but they should only be worn once. They are not designed for continued use. When you take them off, they should go directly in the trash. If you want to wear a mask more than once, use a cloth one.
