About Capstone Farm
If you are living in Washington and interested in taking horseback riding lessons or looking for training so you can properly show horses, Capstone Farm offers the experience you need. They proudly serve Issaquah, Bellevue, Kirkland, and Woodinville clients.
Capstone Farm is led by Sarah Aron, a horse trainer, riding instructor, and coach. At the age of 7, Aron began showing horses, and she has won 18 National Championships in Youth and Non-Pro. She has trained other riders since 1997, helping them win over 200 National and World titles in just the last five years.
Their facility includes a 20-stall barn and a large covered arena where they provide horse training that includes regular feeding, daily stall cleaning, and turnouts according to the owner’s instructions. For beginner riders, they offer horseback riding lessons for those aged 5 and older. If you’re not sure horsemanship is something you’d like to pursue, this allows you to learn how to groom, tack a horse, and ride.
Advanced riders who own or lease their horse can join their equestrian team with private horseback riding lessons that focus on skill development. They will teach you the right questions to ask while riding and help you determine the right solution to make sure your horse is performing how you want him to.
Aron and her team are dedicated to providing life skills that can be applied to the rest of your life as well as when riding. The same characteristics that make a champion rider are needed to be successful in life, such as goal setting, focus, responsibility, and a heightened awareness of the world around you.
