The Beavercreek Clay Courts Tennis Club will be conducting junior clinics starting June 1^st.  The clinics will be every Tuesday and Thursday through the summer…..20 sessions in all.  We will offer clinics for both members and non-members for ages 5-17 yrs old.  All clinics will be taught by USPTA professional and ‘Safe Play’ approved individuals.   Call the club, 937-956-8864, to discuss the best clinic-level for your junior

8:15-9:15am Red Ball Clinics

The Red Ball Clinic is specifically for juniors ages 5-10.  Court dimensions are smaller, racket shorter, and tennis nets lower. The balls are larger and have less compression.   Rackets are available at the club for your junior to use.  No prior tennis experience is necessary.  Parents are welcome to participate in activities.  Clinics focus on hand-eye coordination and racket skills through games and drills, with a primary focus on enjoyment of the game.  The fee for club members is $8 each session or a 25% off rate of $120 for the 20 sessions.  The fee for non-members is $12 each session or a 25% off rate of $180 for the 20 sessions.

11:00-12:00 Orange Ball Clinics

The Orange Ball Clinic is for juniors ages 8-16 that have had little or no tennis playing experience. The clinics will use balls that have less compression and focus on hand-eye coordination, stroke mechanics, score keeping, and drills with an eye on keeping tennis fun.   The fee for club members is $10 each session or a 25% off rate of $150 for the 20 sessions.  The fee for non-members is $15 each session or a 25% off rate of $225 for the 20 sessions.

12:00-1:00pm Junior Intermediate

The Junior Intermediate Clinic is for juniors ages 9-17 that have had some tennis playing experience. The clinics use the regular yellow tennis balls and will focus on stroke mechanics, singles and doubles strategy, and conditioning.  The fee for club members is $10 each session or a 25% off rate of $150 for the 20 sessions. The fee for non-members is $15 each session or a 25% off rate of $225 for the 20 sessions.
