Mr. Fujinaka originally traveled to Honolulu to get the car parts he needed for his local repair shop, as he didn’t yet have an inventory of his own. When NAPA came to Hawaii in 1955, the Fujinakas joined the NAPA Auto Parts family and gained access to a steady flow of car components—growing their business to better serve the people of Maui.

Currently owned and managed by Ed Fujinaka, the family legacy now continues through its second generation. After years of hard work and steady growth, United Auto Parts has expanded to a whopping seven locations, which serve the entire island of Maui.
