5 Halloween Festivities on Oahu

1. Haunted Plantation

Trade a haunted house for a village at the Haunted Plantation in Waipahu. Named one of Hawaii’s spookiest locations, this attraction is scary fun for those over age 13. Travel through this haunted village October 11–31 to get into the spirit of Halloween.

2. Boo at the Zoo

If you’re looking for a family-friendly Halloween experience on October 26 or 27, head down to the Honolulu Zoo for their Boo at the Zoo event. Dress up in costumes and enjoy an animal habitat trick-or-treat trail, spooky story time, crafts, and face painting.

3. Aloun Farms Pumpkin Festival

Located in Kapolei, Aloun Farms hosts a yearly pumpkin festival that’s fun for the whole family with hayrides, farm-style food, and fall-themed games. Stop by between October 12–27 to pick out your own pumpkin to carve a jack-o-lantern or make a bouquet of sunflowers to brighten up your hotel room.

Enjoy a safe and comfortable trick-or-treating experience at the Kahala Mall in Honolulu. Every year on October 31, they host a mall-wide trick-or-treat where kids of all ages can show off their costumes and get a bag full of candy while listening to spooky tunes played by a live DJ.
