Move meetings outside so they can enjoy the sun and fresh air. Also, allow for longer lunch breaks and encourage them to take a mid-afternoon break to spend some time outside.

2. Be Flexible

Many offices have half-day Fridays throughout the summer or allow employees to easily adjust their schedule. Letting someone come in early so they can leave early, for example, helps them enjoy the season without your company missing out on productivity and business development opportunities.

3. Approve Vacation Time

Summer, like the holiday season, is a time of year where more employees will be asking for time off. Avoid discouraging these vacations. Stepping away from the office allows your team members to recharge and enjoy the season, so when they return, they’ll be happier and more focused.
