About Connecticut Advocates for Parkinson's

Defined by doctors as a disease that affects the way you move, Parkinson’s disease, which is linked to decreased dopamine production, affects as many as 1 million Americans. Connecticut Advocates for Parkinson’s (CAP) is a non-profit, 501-c3 registered charity that offers positive support for people with Parkinson’s, as well as their families and friends.

In conjunction with several sister charity organizations located throughout the state, Connecticut Advocates for Parkinson’s offers outreach initiatives, patient group collaboration, wellness and educational opportunities, and clinical trial transportation and updates. Whether you choose to participate through monetary donations, by attending one of our educational seminars or Parkinson’s support groups,  or by taking the time to participate in a clinical trial, Connecticut Advocates for Parkinson's welcomes you as a part of the CAP family, and looks forward to helping those with the disease to fight back in a meaningful and successful way.
