Apple released update versions of their Mac OS and the iOS last month. At Experimac we always recommend you wait a few weeks to a month before you update your devices to the new versions. This gives time for Apple to get some users feedback for bugs and other issues and then they release another minor update to fix those problems.

Apple has now released the first bug fix for iOS 12 and we think it’s time that we go ahead and start updating devices.

REMEMBER Always save backup your iPhone, iPad or Mac Computer before you run the update. While it isn’t common, sometimes these updates will cause your phone to get stuck and data may be unrecoverable.
