We recently finished up a project with a property management company correcting all the billing errors on the 8 condo apartment buildings she manages. We were able to get her refunds for crammed services of over $2000.00 a building and reduce her total alarm lines, access control lines and elevator lines expensive from over $3500.00 a month to just under $800.00 a month.
When South Florida VoIP finished with everything she asked if we could assist her with an issue she was having with AT&T whom had shut off her office phone number over 10 months ago and had it playing a “this is no longer a working phone number recording. The reason AT&T shut off the office number she has had since 1995 was that all the AT&T wiring to bring phone service into her office were bad so they had to shut off her number.
She asked how she could get this number back as client have been calling her business on this number since 1995 and they were thinking she stopped doing property management. She was forced to give everyone her cell number and now was getting non-emergency property issues 24/7.
South Florida VoIP was able to have AT&T restore the service on that number is less than 48 hours by having them forward it to her cell until we could move the number to a Hosted VoIP Provider. The irony is that she has AT&T DSL in her house and her office was in her home.
She was extremely pleased that we were able to get her number restored and then port it to a VoIP provider within a week. She had been trying to get AT&T to restore it 10 months.
A couple weeks later she called and asked what South Florida VoIP could do about all the tenant who had her cell phone number and were still calling her cell number after hours. The Solution she decided to go with was to port her cell phone number and point it at her office number that now had time of day call routing and get a new cell number.
Both her old office number and her cell number now ring to an auto attendant and they only forward to her cell during her normal 8-6 Monday through Friday hours and she got her life back while keeping her clients happy.
