Gas Grill Recipes for Everyone in Your Group

1. Sweet Potato Fries

Elevate your next meal when you add some sweet potato fries to the mix. This side dish is easy to prepare and goes well with everything from hot dogs and burgers to seafood. The lightly sweet flavor helps to neutralize smoky, spicy, and rich notes in the meat. To prepare, preheat to medium, combine the wedges of three sweet potatoes with at least two tablespoons of olive oil, then microwave until they are tender. As they cool, create a delectable topping by mixing salt, pepper, olive oil, and chili powder; sprinkle over the potatoes and toss. Then place them on oil-covered grates and allow them to grill until just before they char. Add a drizzle of honey or balsamic vinegar to add a touch of contrasting sweetness.

gas grill1. Cedar Plank Salmon

If you love fish with a smoky note, use cedar planks as frequently as possible when preparing seafood on your gas grill. Note, however, that you should remove the planks as soon as the salmon is ready to prevent too much ash from escaping into the grill. To cook, soak the planks in water for an hour, preheat the grill to medium, and place the planks on the surface until the bottoms are charred. Flip them and place the salmon on top with the skin down. Brush the fish with salt, pepper, and your barbecue sauce of choice. Cover and grill until done.

3. Flat Iron Steak

If you prefer hearty meat for your meal, enjoy a juicy flat iron steak. After preheating the grill to medium-high heat, massage the steak with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Then, grill for seven to eight minutes on each side until they reach your desired tenderness. To elevate the flavor, grill some tomatoes until they char, then chop them up when they cool. Add vinegar, sugar, crushed red pepper, garlic, parsley, and olive oil, then toss. Pour this relish over the cooked steak.
