Composed of original songs, the album was born from personal tragedy. When her love, Johnny Price, died in a car accident in December of 2015, Barnes didn’t think she would survive. Her heart was broken, and she struggled to cope with the realities of the loss. Over time, she drew upon her extraordinary strength and channeled her grief into her singing and songwriting. Her gift gave her the hope she needed to come out on the other side—and the result is a journey to creating a full-length country album and tribute to the person she loved.
