Helen Iaea, a self-taught painter and pastel artist, has been teaching watercolor for over 20 years. She is a former President and lifetime member of the Hawai’i Watercolor Society. She teaches her Watercolor Class here at Hawaiian Graphics on Saturdays from 9:30am – 12:30pm. Her next session starts on July 11^th.

Her Watercolor class is structured to enhance learning the basic concepts like controlling the medium, edges, value, color, intensity, composition, techniques all while having fun along the way. Perfect for beginners who need to learn these foundational tools, but also a great course for all skill or experience levels.
