Instead, select shoes that support the arch well and allow room for the toes. If heels are essential to your wardrobe, it’s best to keep the heel height to two inches or shorter. 2. Exercise and Stretch Your Feet

Having strong and flexible feet protects them from bunions and other foot deformities. Practice picking up small objects with them or lifting something like a towel and controlling the movements as you perform them. Then stretch them out by alternating between pointing the toes and flexing them. Rolling a ball under the arch can help massage the muscles.

3. Let Your Feet Rest

Letting the feet relax removes them from the confines of their shoes and relieves pressure. Since bunions form by pushing the big toe, let the feet rest daily. If uncomfortable shoes or heels were worn that day, give them more of a break than usual. 

4. Care for Your Feet
