"Had the pretzel breakfast sandwich, quite good, hot and fresh. Coffee was also quite good. They sell quite a lot of fresh bakery items and gourmet canned foods and condiments. They have a good selection of fresh ice cream, cones and cups. This is a really nice Amish spot with picnic tables and farm animals around, great spot for kids."... more

"I have been coming here since I was a baby with my family (we visited Lancaster county every spring until I was 21). I hadn't been in well over a decade but finally got to visit on April 15th 2023. It is the same as I remember! The bakeshop has the best baked goods anywhere in the country. My personal favorite is their pumpkin whoopie pies- they are perfectly flavored and my favorite dessert in the world. They have various other flavors of whoopie pies from chocolate, peanut butter cookie, shoofly pie, oatmeal cookie and chocolate chip cookie. They are all amazing. The bakeshop is probably best known for their shoofly pie which you can buy in several sizes from slices to mini pies and full size. There are also breads, seasonal pies, cookies, etc. They have a great assortment of canned goods-jams, salsas, sauces, etc. Many bulk ingredients too like molasses and spices. There are also lots of gift and garden items for your home. The employees are wonderful-always friendly and eager to serve. Overall this place is amazing and a must stop in Amish country. It is one of my favorite places to visit."... more
