Body sculpting, also known as body contouring, is a nonsurgical procedure that reshapes the body to its most confident, healthy, and attractive shape. The technologies behind these advancements range from lasers to freezing, but one noninvasive method that has been steadily moving to the forefront is the use of radio frequencies, such as the popular truSculpt®. If you've been thinking about embracing change, you may want to learn more about this service.

What Is Body Sculpting?

A contouring treatment provides a controlled removal of body fat and stimulating muscle toning. This is designed for targeting stubborn fat deposits that have not gone away with exercise and diet. There are four primary categories of procedures, depending on the technology used: ultrasound, laser therapy, fat freezing, and radiofrequency energy.

Unlike invasive procedures like liposuction, body sculpting is not meant for major weight loss. For example, it's a popular solution for those who have given birth and want to restore their body's shape. Popular areas that are targeted include the abdomen, face, neck, upper arms, breasts, waistline, back, thighs, buttocks, and calves.

How Does truSculpt Work?

iD®

The truSculpt iD procedure is used to remove stubborn fat deposits. The 15-minute treatment uses monopolar radio frequency energy that targets the subcutaneous fat layer, heating the cells to destroy them without damaging the skin.

The lymphatic system then removes the fat from the body as waste, with no recovery or downtime. Each treatment sees an average of 24% fat reduction in the targeted area.

Flex®

This procedure focuses on toning and strengthening the muscles. Electrodes are placed on the muscles, directly stimulating them with a safe electrical current. This causes intense muscle contractions similar to those that occur during physical exercise, such as crunches and squats. The quick succession of contractions fatigues the muscles, toning and firming them up.

The three treatment modes of truSculpt Flex and can target up to eight muscle groups at the same time. This diversity allows you to target a muscle group intensely throughout the session without causing any muscle damage
