Happy SEPTEMBER!!!

Yes – happy!  Leaps of Love is happy to share awareness of Childhood Cancer during the month of September and we need YOUR help!

Feel free to print the picture presented in this email and place it in your car window, a window at home or in the workplace, share the awareness with co-workers by organizing a GOLD day, change your Facebook profile to GOLD, replace your outside lights with GOLD lights (bug lights), anything you can do to hep spread the awareness is greatly appreciated.  Pediatric cancer only receive 4% of research funding for our kids.  This in unfortunate and we need more people to be aware!

Leaps of Love is an organization that provides support for childhood cancer focusing on brain tumors and late-effects of childhood cancer.  Many of these families are traveling long distances to appointments or living in hotels while their children are in the hospital receiving treatments.  To ease their burden, Leaps of Love is in need of the following items:

Gift cards to Wal-Mart, gas stations, chain restaurants, GrubHub, Door Dash, Google, Amazon, toiletries and/or cleaning supplies.

As we are not able to deliver to the hospitals during COVID’19 restrictions, we are able to deliver to their homes with approval from the families.

Another way to show support is to do a 30 Day Challenge making our family and friends, and their family and friends, more aware of Childhood Cancer with the money going to Leaps of Love in the end.

1.  Determine your theme:  fitness; healthy eating/drinking more water; swimming; reading; giving up something; cleaning/getting rid of items; gratitude/inspiration/ self-care; blogging; etc.  The possibilities are endless!
2. Create an accountable person to help you fulfill your goal.
3. Develop your marketing plan.

I have personally set up a FB page with my September blog that I was challenged with.  I have been given 30 questions so that people can learn more about me and hopefully it will bring more awareness to myself all while supporting Childhood Cancer.
