If your student is planning to take the ACT/SAT exam, you may be wondering about the best time to begin his/her preparations. Peach State Tutoring & Test Prep can help you with your ACT/SAT prep and provide you with the tools needed to do your best. The tutoring center serves students in Johns Creek and the surrounding areas.

ACT prepThe key is to formulate a plan going into your ACT/SAT prep. It may be helpful to take a diagnostic test to determine your strong and weak points. Not only will you discover whether math or English will stump you, but you’ll also get an idea of how you perform under pressure. Give yourself an ample amount of time to complete the test in a controlled environment, using the actual ACT/SAT timeline as your guide.

After taking the test, you’ll be better prepared to craft a reliable ACT/SAT prep plan. Using your baseline score as a guide, determine your goal score on the actual test. If your goal is to increase your score by three points, a minimum of one or two months of studying may be sufficient. This number grows the greater your goal score; for example, if your goal is to increase your score by 10 points or more, you’ll want to begin studying at least three months to six months ahead of the test.

Peach State Tutoring & Test Prep can lessen the stress of studying, too. These skilled tutors all possess either PhD. or Master’s degrees, and they recognize the importance of focused academic tutoring for ACT/SAT testing. All of the relevant subjects, including English, math, science, and reading, are covered with a strong emphasis placed on ACT/SAT-style questions.
