There will be 3 grand prizes drawn at 2:30 p.m. totaling over $1,000 in value. Hourly door prizes will also be given throughout the day.
Of all the blessings that we enjoy in life, one of the most cherished is the friendship that we build with our friends and neighbors. As customers of Clifton Feed, you are our friends, and we enjoy getting to know you. It is a privilege to get to know you and your family. Our June 5th “Customer Appreciation Day” is for each one of you. Please come and help us celebrate!
Important Things in May
1. Develop a plan for flea control in pets! May brings warmer weather to our area and fleas will begin to hatch out. Treat your yard and your pet to gain complete control over this problem. We have several good options for you to consider.
2. Horses need deworming in May to remain healthy for spring and summer activities. Early spring grass can contain parasites. A solid parasite program can help horses get rid of internal parasites that rob horses of vital nutrients.
3. Cattle need mineral supplement as spring grass starts to grow. They are also nursing new calves and require extra vitamins and minerals. Clifton Feed offers Wind and Rain mineral in bags or tubs. Ask about the fly control version…..it really is a good option for productive performance from cows and calves.
4. Choosing a fertilizer for your lawn can depend on several things but selecting a good, balanced product can feed your grass for the entire growing season. A good example would be Supreme 19-5-9 with added micronutrients. This product will contain a slow release nitrogen source, along with the correct balance of phosphorus and potassium.
5. Use of herbicides in pastures to control weeds is the most important practice that a rancher can use to boost forage production. Some herbicides require a license and others do not. Please drop by the store, and we can help you select the product that best fits your production goals. May is a good time to spray to control weeds in pastures.
6. Deer management in the spring focuses on the beginning of antler growth and the birth of new fawns. Clifton Feed has products to support both events. We look forward to visiting with you!
7. FISH DAY is coming on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, from 4-5:00 p.m.
