As we begin another new year, I would like to “Thank You” for your business and friendship. Our customers are the backbone of our business and we are privileged to work with each of you! I wish you a very successful and productive year! May you and your family enjoy good health and prosperity.
CFSC…….Our Job
Periodically it is good to step back and review what our store is all about and ask tough questions of ourselves. We have 5 areas that have to be analyzed. We work hard to be the very best at all of them!
1. Dependable Products…….We constantly search the marketplace for products and programs that meet or exceed your expectations. They should be of the highest quality and help you meet your production goals. We are fortunate that we work with some of the very best manufacturing companies in America. We have confidence that you will be happy with each and every product that you purchase from us!
2. The Best Employee Team……...Business is about “people doing business with people”! We are so proud of each and every employee that is a part of our store. We select folks that are of the highest moral character and continue to train them in all parts of our business. They care about our customers and strive to do a very good job. They take pride in “doing things right”.
3. Top Customer Service……..When a customer places his or her trust in us, we know that we have a huge responsibility to go beyond the norm. Excellent service includes friendly, knowledgeable communication on the phone or at the sales counter. It means loading your order correctly. It means delivering product to your farm or ranch on time and in the correct feeders.
4. Helpful Knowledge……..We have folks on our team that have 35+ years of experience in this industry. Each of us has expertise in different areas. One may have more knowledge in the cattle area. Another may be more wildlife experience. Others are better trained in the retail areas of the store. You deserve answers to your questions and advice that is the best available. Helping you do better is very important to us!

Success with Cattle Begins Now
What would a “great” year look like to beef producers? What do you want to accomplish that would make it a very good year? Markets are gaining strength each month. Will you be ready to cash in on a better market? The answers to these question will depend on a good plan.
First, take a hard look at your factory…….your cow herd and your bull! Are all cows bred? Do I need to change my bull? This is the best time in the current cattle cycle to up-grade in planning for the future.
Second, are my cows in the right body condition to calve this spring, nurse a calf and breed back on time? Now is the time correct this if it is a problem. We can help with the nutrition part of this equation.
Third, how and when will I market this year’s calf crop? One must plan now to sell calve with “added value” in the fall. Do I have the facilities and cash flow to sell VAC 45 calves? Should I market my heifers or keep them for replacements? January is a great time to put a plan together. Let us know if we can help!
