CASTING CALL: Stand-ins needed for Richmond Hill-shot movie starring Keke Palmer, Common

 

 

Filming is back in the Savannah region, and some stand-ins for the major stars are needed.

Filming of the feature film “Alice” is set to begin in August and the production is seeking local actors to work as stand-ins for the film’s three stars – Keke Palmer, Common and Jonny Lee Miller.

 

The film stars Palmer as “a woman in servitude in 1800s Georgia, who escapes her captor to discover the shocking reality that exists beyond the tree line — it’s 1973,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the casting call, they are only looking at local actors who have experience with stand-in roles with a pay rate of $155/12. The actors need to live in the Savannah or Richmond Hill area.

Here is the casting call for each role:

 

Role: Alice

 

• Needs to be an African-American female between the ages of 22-28


• Height needs to be 5 foot, 6 inches and weight of 125 pounds.

Role: Frank

 

• Needs to be between the age of 30-45 and have hair.


• Height needs to be six feet with a weight of 185 pounds. Clothes should have a size of 35 for his waist and 44 for his chest.

Role: Paul

 

• Needs to be between the ages of 30-45.


• Height needs to be 5 feet, 11 inches with a weight of 185 pounds. Clothes should have a size of 35 for his waist and 44 for his chest.

According to the casting call, applicants should be “as close to the complexion of the actors as possible.” The casting call states that the job will run between August and September with the specific dates varying depending on the role.

The casting call also mentioned that a COVID-19 test will be administered prior to filming and on each day of shooting.
