The program includes 672 clock hours, which surpasses the requirements needed for Illinois state licensing. It also exceeds the 500 hours required by the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), National Certification, and Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards' Massage and Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx). Students will receive hands-on practice working in the Student Clinic. Since the facility is open to the public, they will have the opportunity to tend to, assess, and treat various body types and needs.
