Stephens & Smith Flatwork beautified Lincoln’s Indian Hills Community Church, adding multicolored concrete slates and decorative fixtures to its exterior.

The project initially required the removal of 1,721 square feet of dirt and concrete. About 400 square feet of the newly added concrete was colored and stamped with Ashlar slate panel.  Project Manager Kent Baker said the church additions featured a fixture unique to their typical work — large 3-foot-tall planter boxes.

The project crew also installed a light pole base, frost-free stoop and patio, Baker added. The entire project took a week to complete and was supervised by Foreman Haider Kazem.
