Botox® is an injectable that can reduce fine lines and wrinkles. If you're interested in a more youthful appearance, you may have considered this treatment. Often, technicians will target one or more of the following areas based on your desires and needs.

Where Can You Get Botox Injections?

1. Forehead

Wrinkles and fine lines on the forehead are usually some of the first signs of aging, forming naturally from eyebrow movements, such as eyebrow furrowing that creates frown lines. With a few injections, the appearance of these wrinkles will be diminished.

2. Mouth

Lines extending out around your mouth are called lipstick or smoker’s lines because they form from pursing your lips. However, they can be caused by many common repetitive motions, like drinking from a straw. You can also get marionette lines that look like parentheses and extend down to the jaw, sometimes turning the corners of the mouth down.

Injections will help minimize both of these. The muscles in the lower half of your face, especially around your mouth, are delicate, so make sure your professional has experience treating mouth lines.

3. Eyes

Crow’s feet form at the corner of your eyes, and they’re one of the most noticeable signs of aging. Aging may also cause droopy or uneven eyelids as the skin begins to lose tautness, but Botox can help even them out. Some practitioners may also offer injections to aid the appearance of drooping under the eye, but this isn’t as common.

4. Neck

Aging can cause the muscles around your chin, jaw, and neck to sag, creating the appearance of rings or layers. With treatment, the muscles will relax and regain their proper position, easing the appearance of neck rings. Botox can also be injected around the jaw to treat teeth grinding, also known as bruxism.
